Advising Council

The Advising Council is made up of an advising leader from each of the undergraduate advising units. The Council is led by the Assistant Provost & Director of the Academic Advising Center. 

Advising Council Mission Statement:

The UI Advising Council fosters a culture of advising excellence across campus in order to support student learning, success and retention, in alignment with the mission of University of Iowa. We strive to build a community that embraces intellectual growth, engagement with the world, as well as a commitment to diversity, equity & inclusion. We advocate for best practices related to academic advising, and for policies, technology and resources supporting the student experience.
